Please arrive for your lesson or training session ready to swim 5 minutes BEFORE the start time as arriving late may result in you being turned away.
To get the most out of your lesson or training ensure that you have a drink of water on pool side. It is recommended that the younger members have 500ml or 1 pint for the session and the older members have 1 litre or two pints for the evening. Intake of water is essential to ensure maximum performance of your muscles, prevent dehydration and avoid muscle cramp.
In the event of extreme weather conditions HSLSC may consider it necessary to cancel lessons/training sessions due to health and safety or coach availability. If in doubt please check with William Gregg VC Leisure Centre on 01773 537940 before dropping your child off. Alternatively you can check the club’s Facebook group for the latest update.
